The Neues Schauspiel Leipzig is a small, independent theater in Leipzig, Germany. For 12 years, they've operated without government funding, essentially earning no money. Their applications for local government support have been consistently denied throughout this period. Now, in their 12th year, they're aiming for a fresh start—a relaunch and reorientation of this remarkable cultural venue. They needed photos of the space and its people for their new website, and I was glad to lend a hand.
